Danish eco-innovation - a green light that says GO!
Several Danish enterprises employ eco-innovation successfully. The Danish wind turbines are probably the most well-known example, but did you know that a green traffic light can be green in more than one sense?
The variety of business cases in this section demonstrates that environmental regulation does not conflict with economic growth and new business opportunities. Business can "go forward" environmentally and profitably. Danish know-how on the environment and technology has been developed as a result of co-operation between authorities, research institutes and enterprises.
